Check in was good and very friendly even though we arrived just as they were closing up for the evening. Everything worked fine with the hookups but that's as good as it got. One tree (not at our site) no shade/shelter; no picnic table; no grill or fire ring. Just a cow pasture that had water/sewer/elec brought in on gravel roads. I was there for three nights so asked the next morning if they had a picnic table and was told they would bring one down. That evening I asked again (left a message). Never got one. They had lots of amenities we never use like pool, laundry but it seemed almost all the sites full of working people. No one sat outside or walked by so if you want to feel alone in a cow pasture this is a good place. No comparison to Oak Creek (which is nearby and we drove through; it looked alive and lovely). I could have probably said 4 stars except was so bummed about the lack of camping amenities.
Was a very nice place. Only was there one night. Laundry room and bathrooms where keeped clean.
Beautiful place! So secluded and quiet. Our neighbors were Texas Longhorns in a pasture with a lake. The restroom/ showers were private and immaculate.
I'm a full time RV'er so I RV Parks are where I spend all my nights. If you are on I 20 between Ft Worth and Abilene is is a great stop. Friendly staff. Loved the cable and the water was pleasing to the tastebuds. The grounds were clean and they were decorating big time for Halloween. It's right off I20 but in a bowl so no freeway noise. Good place for a week or a night.
Clean, quiet, friendly. Hot and pool were great. Bathrooms and showers very nice. I'd love to have an excuse to stay here again.
